Valentina Shevchenko is about to enter the Octagon to do battle with Jessica Eye to defend her UFC Flyweight Champion. The two will do battle at UFC 238.

However, before their fight, I had the chance to ask Valentina Shevchenko some questions.

When, how, and where to see UFC 238 Live in India?

Catch all the live action from UFC 238 in India by tuning in to Sony Ten 2 and Ten 2 HD at 7:30 AM on the 9th of June.

Q. What is it like fighting in the same division as your sister? Do you envision meeting each other in a fight ever in the Octagon?

VS: You know, we are fighting in the same division. But the possibility that we will fight each other sometime is very poor. Because we still have so many opponents before we can fight each other. But at the same time, it will still be a question about fighting each other, I think we still have more options. I don't think my mom would be very glad to hear that we are going to fight each other (laughs). I think it is a bad idea.

Q. What do you make of your opponent, Jessica Eye?

VS: She is an MMA fighter and can fight and stand up, wrestling, grappling, whatever. I am ready for her. I have prepared very well. I had a very strong training camp. So, just nothing more nothing less, it is going be the next fight for me, that's all.

Q. If there was one fighter in the UFC you could fight next, who would it be?

VS: Difficult to say. Because I am the person who is very focused on what's going to wait for me in there in the next fight. For now, it's my opponent this Saturday, but whoever comes to the #1 position, I will gladly fight them.

Q. Outside fighting, what are some of your hobbies?

VS: One of the biggest passion in my life is shooting. It's shooting competition, shooting training. The modern version of shooting is very active, you have to move, like Federation IPSC IDPA. You have to do a lot of exercises, endurance training, it takes a lot of energy. Secondly, I love to spend time in the nature, by some lake, river, ocean. Wherever there's water, here I am (laughs).
