Keita Nakamura returns to the Octagon against Alex Morono.

#1 Keita Nakamura vs Alex Morono

Keita Nakamura is an extremely crafty fighter, and his veteran savvy could very well come into use in this matchup as he outworks a similarly tricky customer in Alex Morono.

I see Nakamura having the edge in grappling, while the striking differential between the two remains somewhat negligible. Naka takes this!

Prediction: Keita Nakamura def. Alex Morono via Decision

#2 Syuri Kondo vs Chan-Mi Jeon

Should everything go as planned—barring a bout of food poisoning, the flu or something akin to that—Kondo has this one in the bag.

This is an interesting Women’s Strawweight bout, and while both fighters may be miles away from a title-shot, this fight does provide momentum to its winner; escalating her into the lower-tier of the UFC 115 pound weight class.

Prediction: Syuri Kondo def. Chan-Mi Jeon via Decision

#3 Shinsho Anzai vs Luke Jumeau

Shinsho Anzai’s previous fight was the last time UFC put up shop in Japan for Josh Barnett and Roy Nelson.

On paper, this is Jumeau’s fight to lose, and should he stay alert and careful on the ground, I think it’s a shut-out for the Kiwi on the feet. Jumeau likely edges Anzai, with the fight going the distance.

Prediction: Luke Jumeau def. Shinsho Anzai via Decision
