UFC Fight Night: Shevchenko v Pena

The most exciting fight of the night so far, Jordan Johnson looked like a complete professional when he took on Yandiev. As if that was not enough, the round ended with Yandiev struggling to survive a Rear Naked Choke. The first round came to an end at a good time for Yandiev.

The second round finished what the first round had started, as he hit the Headkick and knocked him to the ground. What came next was the immediate arm triangle, and without any other choice available to him, Yandiev tapped out.

#5 Desmond Green vs Mairbek Taisumov:

UFC Fight Night: Volkov v Struve
UFC Fight Night: Volkov v Struve

The big crowd favourite ahead of the fight was Taisumov, as the crowd went crazy from the moment he entered. The fight was on more equal footing than anyone had expected, but the second round saw Desmond getting in good jabs on Taisumov, making him defend.

Green went for a hard left and got part of it, but Taisumov came back in with a strong one. Green got caught in the nether regions during the round but a short break was enough to judge they could continue. Taisumov blocked a takedown attempt, and the swings were becoming wilder for him at the end of the second round, but Green got a good shot in.

Both landed a good shot each to start the next round. They exchanged significant shots, but the difference was made by Taisumov's body and head kicks.

Result: Marbek Taisumov defeated Desmond Green via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
