Sam Alvey is one of those fighters, who seems to be on the up, but has never really made it on the big stage per se. With 10 wins and 5 losses in UFC, he does not have the worst record going into the fight as his last two fights saw him winning, and things can only get better for him if he can beat Nogueira.
Nogueira, on the other hand, has a lot to do ahead of the fight. His last fight was a disaster, after going for most of the 3rd round, he was unable to continue with the referee declaring his opponent, Ryan Bader the winner by TKO.
It is now up to him to prove that he can fight the odds which are stacked against him.
Sam Alvey (-300) vs Rogerio Nogueira(+220) - Favoured winner: Sam Alvey
