UFC News: Cole Miller says the UFC denied his request to meet

UFC featherweight veteran Cole Miller is not happy with his treatment

Longtime UFC featherweight contender and former Ultimate Fighter Season 5 (TUF 5) competitor Cole Miller is very displeased with the way the promotion has been treating him as of late, causing Miller to request a meeting with UFC President Dana White and the brass of the promotion to hash out their issues.

Miller took to the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani earlier today (Monday, December 12, 2016), and revealed that not only had the UFC not accepted his meeting, but they didn’t even give him a reason as to why they declined to see him:

"They couldn't even give me a reason and then when I tried to fly out on my own dime, they were like, ‘Nope, not taking a meeting with you.’

All that I needed them to do was just listen to me and I'd listen to them, you know, the way it should be done, and I'll fly out on my own dime and get my own hotel and all that stuff.”

Miller further went on to add:

“It seems like they don't want me back by just the way they're treating me, ignoring me, If I win this fight and they send me a contract, I'm not signing that.

Why would I want to fight for you when you didn't show any interest in me fighting for you? Just take that thing on back."

Miller is currently on a two-fight losing skid to names such as Alex Caceres and the new interim featherweight champion Max Holloway, his recent record also consists a No Contest bout against Jim Alers after an eye poke had rendered Miller unable to continue.

Miller is expected to take on Mizuto at UFC on FOX 22 this weekend and it just so happens to be the last fight on his contract. Given the current state of things between Miller and the UFC, it is unlikely that he’ll return to the promotion.

Miller and Mizuto will clash on UFC on FOX 22 live from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California on December 17, 2016.
