UFC News: 'Cyborg' doesn't believe Ronda Rousey will ever fight her

Will the Rousey-Cyborg fight ever happen?

Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino, believes that former Bantamweight Champion will not fight her regardless of the result of her next fight.

Despite the fact that all the chips have fallen into place, Justino is still not buying that ‘The Rowdy One’ will ever give her an opportunity to challenge her inside the Octagon. Here’s what she said on Submission Radio about the issue (courtesy of FoxSports):

“Really if Ronda really wanted to fight me, she would’ve already did it. (Whether) she wins or loses her next fight, she’s not gonna fight me "This I already know. She doesn’t like challenging herself. If she lose, she’s gonna retire. Even if she wins, she will say, ‘you have to come to the champion,’ and she’ll be saying the things that she said before, you know, because she’s not there to challenge for big fights.

"You know, she chooses her opponent and I don’t think this fight’s gonna happen. I know Dana White said, ‘oh Ronda wants to fight really bad’. If she really wanted this fight really bad, it would have already happened, people would’ve already watched the fight. I don’t believe one word of this."

‘Cyborg’ is currently riding a dominant two-fight UFC win streak since making her debut in the promotion, getting both her wins via knockout in the early rounds. Here is Cyborg’s entire interview with Submission Radio (The topic in question is brought up at 12:10):

Rousey has not competed since suffering her first professional defeat against Holly Holm in the main event of UFC 193 in Melbourne, losing her coveted UFC Women’s Bantamweight title as a result.

The title has since switched hands repeatedly after that, going from Holly Holm to Meisha Tate and is now held by Amanda Nunes.
