UFC News: Jon Jones picks McGregor over Woodley if the two champs were to collide

Who is the pound for pound no. 1 now?

Conor McGregor exchanged heated words with Tyron Woodley, during the UFC 205 pre-fight press conference with the welterweight champ, warning The Notorious one to stay away from the 170 pounds division.

If the two champions ever collide, former light-heavyweight kingpin, Jon Jones picks McGregor to walk away as the victor. Jones tweeted his opinion when he was asked by a fan on Twitter.

The collision would be worth a blockbuster event, as we have already witnessed the pay-per-view numbers that McGregor can draw for his fights. Ever since he won the featherweight title most of his bouts have been topping the list of highest money-generating UFC events.

McGregor has tried to take a shot at Woodley online, calling him a ‘b*tch’ on Twitter. But Woodley has confidently stated, that he would feel bad for The Notorious one if he ever steps up to fight for his welterweight championship.

Despite the fact that Woodley failed to win his battle against Stephen Thomson with a draw, at UFC 205, he still welcomes a rematch with ‘Wonderboy’. As for McGregor, T-Wood says he fights at a way higher level than the Irish champion, but wouldn’t mind testing his skills.
