In case you didn't know...

Jon Jones' last Octagon appearance was back at UFC 214 in 2017 when he made his return to the cage and went head-to-head against his arch-rival Daniel Cormier in one of the most highly-anticipated UFC rematches of all time.

Jones, who prior to this bout had already won the first fight, came out on the top on this occasion as well, knocking out DC to win the UFC Light Heavyweight Title for the second time before eventually being suspended.

The heart of the matter

Following the controversial location change of UFC 232, which was due to the Jon Jones situation was shifted from Las Vegas, Nevada to Los Angeles, California, several notable faces have taken social media by storm.

Veteran Heavyweight fighter Mark Hunt also took to his official Instagram handle, ripping the UFC and its President Dana White, bashing them for changing the location of UFC 232 and further allowing Jon Jones to main event the card as well.

Hunt also asked Alexander Gustafsson not to waste his time in fighting Jon Jones and claimed that the UFC has supposedly always promoted cheaters.

In addition, Hunt also posted a picture of his with yet another very explicit caption and bashing both the promotion and its President as well. The veteran Heavyweight asked the UFC to cut Jon Jones completely, instead paying Gustafsson and leaving the show in Vegas for all fans and families who have already made the payment for the pre-arranged Nevada show.

What's next?

UFC 232 will now take place at The Forum in Inglewood, which is located just outside of LA and for Jones' official return against 'The Mauler', fans can tune in on December 30th.
