A few months back McGregor challenged Mayweather to a boxing match and also had posted a picture of the two on Instagram. The possible rumours of the fight happening died down later due to McGregor’s contract obligations.

Following McGregor’s victory over Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205, he once again issued a challenge to Mayweather. The undefeated boxing icon responded by saying that The Notorious one isn’t in his league and also contradicted any claims that McGregor was the ‘Mayweather of MMA’.

When asked by TMZ what he thought of Mayweather comparing Mcgregor to an ant, the Irish Champion said, “Tell him to say it to my face!”

Mystic Mac has already demanded a $100 million paycheck if he were to square off against the former eleven-time boxing champion in a boxing ring. But on the contrary, Dana White had previously mentioned that if the fight were to happen Mayweather would have to call him first.
