Mickey Gall was scheduled to go up against Carlos Condit at UFC on ESPN 7. The two were to engage in a Welterweight bout in Washington D.C. next week.

But due to unfortunate turn of events, the fight will not be taking place anymore, according to a report by MMA Junkie.

No replacement opponent for Gall

A veteran of 30 professional wins and 13 losses, Carlos Condit was hoping to make a return to winning ways after suffering five consecutive losses in UFC. But the former interim Champion had to withdraw from the bout owing to an eye injury.

The MMA promotion tried to find an appropriate replacement for Condit who would go up against Gall for the December 7 event. But the plan did not work out in the end and the entire fight was called off, sending Gall out of UFC on ESPN 7 altogether.

With only one victory and one defeat in 2019, Gall was certainly looking forward to the fight to win it end the year on a high note. His last appearance was against Salim Touahri at UFC on ESPN 5 whom he defeated via decision. Before that he lost to Diego Sanchez at UFC 235 in a second-round TKO finish.
