#2 Amanda Nunes to defend Bantamweight Title at UFC 245

Amanda Nunes is currently on the back off four-fight successive title defenses in the UFC Women's Bantamweight Division. Nunes, in her last bout, defeated Holly Holm at UFC 239 and for her next title defense, The Lioness will put her strap on the line against Germaine de Randamie at UFC 245.

Having made her return to the Women's Bantamweight Division, Germaine de Randamie is coming off major victories over Raquel Pennington and Aspen Ladd for her last two outings in the Octagon. For her recent performances in the Octagon, de Randamie has been awarded a title shot by the UFC, as the promotion took to their official Twitter handle and confirmed the title bout.

UFC 245 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on the 14th of December, 2019. So far only one other fight has been confirmed for the event, as Jessica Eye is set to head-to-head against Viviane Araújo.
