#1. Frankie Edgar vs Pedro Munhoz - UFC Fight Night main event

Round 1: Pedro Munhoz, coming off a loss to Aljamain Sterling started aggressively and went for the leg kick. An early leg kick caught Frankie Edgar off balance before Edgar responded with a 4-punch combo. Munhoz kept targeting the legs but ate a few quick shots from Edgar. The former Champion Edgar found his rhythm early on. It was a touch-and-move approach from Edgar, who had to dig deeper while he ate a few shots himself.

Edgar threw a close-range shot and there was an exchange of leg kicks before Munhoz connected with a big right. Munhoz seemed to be going for the power shots while Edgar countered with close-range shots. Munhoz landed a couple of heavy shots and Edgar got a couple of shots to the body. The last 20 seconds saw Edgar have a small sequence before withdrawing from his takedown attempt. The final shots of the round were Munhoz's.

Round 2: Frankie Edgar landed a right as did Pedro Munhoz. The Brazilian stopped a takedown but seemed to be cut from a punch. A slip from Frankie Edgar saw him eat a right, but he seemed unfazed. Munhoz got caught on the way in and walked into some straight punch sand jabs. Edgar took Munhoz down but he couldn't do much with it. The two exchanged strikes and it seemed as though Munhoz's cut was getting worse. There was a groin strike right at the end of the round.
