Early last year, Merab Dvalishvili touched on one of his more infamous incidents with Nina-Marie Daniele in a sitdown. The incident took place during a trip to Jamaica with teammate and close friend Aljamain Sterling, which saw the Georgian phenom practicing a rear-naked choke on a woman.
The woman then proceeded to grab Dvalishvili's crotch in what was clearly choreographed as a comedic video. Unfortunately for 'The Machine', the reception to the video wasn't as positive as he had hoped, even if it led to a wave of attention from the MMA fandom.
So when he spoke to Daniele, she remarked that he seemed happiest during those moments, to which Dvalishvili spoke on the aftermath of it all.
"Yeah but you know what happened after? After I post this picture, it was funny picture, it's fun, it's just good time. But all my girls, I was dating, texting, everybody left. I'm single again. So now I learned my lesson. I should not post even funny pictures, I should not post with the girls because now like no."

Fortunately for Dvalishvili, the video had no lasting impact on his reputation. While he learned to avoid posting racy content on social media, given how it upsets those with whom he's in a relationship, 'The Machine' has continued to play an outlandish character on social media.
It hasn't made him any less of a fighter though, as he recently captured UFC bantamweight gold at Noche UFC 306, beating Sean O'Malley via unanimous decision.
Merab Dvalishvili enjoyed Jamaica in the company of Aljamain Sterling
Merab Dvalisvhili's trip to Jamaica involved ex-bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling, whose parents are Jamaican. The two men regard each other as best friends, even avoiding fighting each other at bantamweight during Sterling's reign as champion in the weight class.

The pair engaged in several activities in Jamaica, and it is likely that Dvalishvili will return to the country for another excursion, especially now on a victory lap after claiming the UFC bantamweight throne. It would almost certainly happen with Sterling by his side.
