NASCAR: Brett Moffitt To GMS Racing
Yesterday GMS racing announce that Johnny Sauter and the organization had parted ways. Veteran Sauter who won his truck title in 2016 with GMS racing. Sauter 21 fans is still wondering where is Johnny going to go, or planning on retired racing full time?
We are still wondering who is replacing Johnny when 2019 season arrives. Maybe a few drivers who are looking for a full-time ride, maybe Brett Moffitt would be a perfect fit for GMS racing? Brett has been looking for a full-time ride since he has became a free agent who won his truck title in 2018 at Homestead Miami Florida. Johnny will not return to the truck series race after three years with GMS racing in the truck series. He has 23 victories in his career with GMS. His last victory win was in Bristol International Speedway where he clinches his regular season title before NASCAR playoffs kick off at Canada.
Today GMS racing has announced the driver for car 24. Brett will be behind the wheel of the 24 chevy to replace Justin Haley who was in the truck series for two years with GMS racing before moving to Xfinity Series for 2019 season, and Ryan Truex lost his ride in the Xfinity series for 2019 season.
During Johnny Sauter’s interview with NASCAR Sirius XM channel 90, he said Brett Moffitt might be in GMS racing for the Gander Outdoors Truck Series. Brett decided that he’s not returning for Hattori racing for 2019 season, he still wants to race in the truck series before he decided to retire full time racing in NASCAR. Moffitt tries everything in his power to win a lot of races and bring home a championship for GMS racing in the truck series before 2019 season ended at Homestead Miami. He may bring home a championship for GMS racing.
