MotoGP Czech Rep Grand Prix 2011: Bad day for the Spaniards

Spanish MotoGP riders had a relatively bad day at the Czech Republic Grand Prix in all categories disputed this afternoon. The highest placed rider was young Marc Marquez in the Moto 2 category who took the flag to second place, while Alberto Moncayo managed a third place finish in the 125cc category.

Surprisingly no Spaniard gained podium in the Moto GP category after Dani Pedrosa fell off his bike and Jorge Lorenzo made a bad tyre choice, thus ending up to pay for it dearly finishing in fourth position. Casey Stoner turned out to be the winner, thus opening a 32 point gap over Lorenzo, thus giving him a very handy lead and a huge advantage in the World Championship title race.
