Stage set for Grand Finale of the CEAT Pune Invitational Supercross League 2014

Pune, December 12th2014: After two exciting legs the stage is all set for a grand finale as the bikers will gear up for the final and most exciting leg of the CEAT Pune Invitational Supercross League 2014 powered by Gulf. Sports enthusiast in Pune are up for gala time as the track will be set on fire as top international and national rider will fight it out for the top honours. After exciting first two legs in Nashik and Kolhapur the league has turned out to be game changer.

Team Bhalla Royale is leading the table with 282 points followed by Team Aranha Racing 256 points and SKP Highrollers with 252 points. Harith Noah of Aranha Racing of (80 points) is maximum points secured by any rider in the MX1 category. Harith will once again be the star attraction in the MX1 category as he conquered top honors in the both the legs.

Table toppers Team Bhalla Royale will surely miss R Natraj in the MX4 category (Indian Expert Class – Indian Made Bikes) as he is ruled out of the final leg as he is down with fractured collar bone. R Natraj encountered a major fall during the National Championship at Bangalore held last month. R Natraj was the major contributor to the team with 80 points as he finished at the top in both the legs.

All eyes will be on the SX category as all the international riders will compete in the category. Dennis Stapleton (USA) will be the most followed biker as he regarded as one of the top notch Supercross rider in the world. The international riders segment will be the most sought after segment as it will be huge entertainment factor for the crowds.

Also people from the city will witness the future of Indian Supercross, as junior riders will like to prove a point in the MXJ category. The final leg will be held on December 14th 2014 from 6 PM onwards at Koregaon Park. Practice session will be held on December 12th.

The franchise-format league is being talked about as the best thing to have happened to the sport in the country. Over the years, Supercross did not have much to offer to the winning rider’s prize money-wise. But Ceat Pune Invitational Supercross League 2014 powered by Gulf has been a huge success bringing out a positive change.

The Pune Invitational Supercross League is held under the aegis of The Federation of Motor Sports Club of India (FMSCI) and organized under the guidance of the Indian and International Federation rules and regulations.
