The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season has arrived at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez for the Viva Mexico 250. Thirty-seven drivers will contest the season’s 16th race for the 100 laps at the 2.429-mile-long road course track.

Last week, NASCAR veteran Denny Hamlin took the checkered flag at Michigan, but he has skipped this week’s Mexico race following the birth of his son. Ryan Truex will drive his #11 JGR car as a replacement.


What is the green flag time for the NASCAR race today?

The green flag for the NASCAR Cup Series Viva Mexico 250 at Autódromo will wave at 3:23 p.m. ET on Sunday.

The Viva Mexico 250's live action can be viewed on Prime Video, while radio coverage will be available at MRN and SiriusXM Radio in the United States.


Shane van Gisbergen is on the pole for the Viva Mexico 250 at Autódromo.

Shane van Gisbergen, the driver of the #88 Trackhouse Racing, took the early upper hand by winning the pole to lead the field to the green flag for Sunday’s Viva Mexico 250. He scored the pole with a time of 1:32:776 and a speed of 93.904 mph during Saturday’s (June 14) Cup Series qualifying session.

RFK Racing driver Ryan Preece will start alongside SVG on the front row on Sunday. Meanwhile, Ross Chastain and Ty Gibbs will start from the second row.
