The season’s 15th points-paying weekend will be full of thrilling racing action. The 2.429-mile-long road course will host Next Gen cars for the first time since they entered the scene. Fresh off the race at Michigan, it will be fascinating to see how the drivers adjust to the unknown challenges in Mexico City, as it’s an inaugural event.
Thirty-seven NASCAR Cup Series drivers are set to start the Viva México 250 on Sunday, June 15, to compete over 100 laps and 241.7 miles.
A lot of Cup action is coming this weekend, leading to Sunday’s Viva México 250. The weekend will kick off with practice on Friday, June 13, at 1:05 p.m. ET and qualifying on Saturday, June 14, to determine the starting lineup for the season’s 15th race.
