NASCAR veteran Denny Hamlin's fiancée, Jordan Fish, recently shared her condolences on the assassination of political activist Charlie Kirk. The incident happened during Kirk's 'American Comeback Tour' held at Utah Valley University, and President Donald Trump confirmed the news of his closest ally's death via a post on Truth Social.
According to the videos circulating on the internet, the co-founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) was brutally shot in the neck during the event. As per the reports, the shooter was hiding on a roof. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox pointed out that Kirk's death was a 'political assassination.'
FBI Director Kash Patel has been handling the matter and took in a suspect for interrogation after finding links to the shooter. Reflecting on the horrific incident, Denny Hamlin's fiancée, Jordan Fish, backdropped a post from The CONSERVATEUR and shared her solace in an Instagram story. Fish wrote:
"Absolutely rocked by this..all I can think about his wife and kids"
"Charlie Kirk was a husband, a father, and a friend to so many. A generational leader, he galvanized young Americans hungry to see greatness in our country again. His loss is devastating. Our hearts and prayers are with his beautiful wife, Erika, and their two young children," the post read.

As per the reports made public, the assassin shot Charlie Kirk moments after he answered the question, "Do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last 10 years?" Notably, the shooter is still at large, and the university has suspended all classes till further notice.
"We certainly hope so": Joe Gibbs on whether Denny Hamlin could secure his maiden Cup Series title this year
Earlier this month, Joe Gibbs Racing owner Joe Gibbs was featured in an interview after Denny Hamlin won the Enjoy Illinois 300 held at Gateway on September 7, 2025. During the post-race interview with Cup Scene, NASCAR analyst Bob Pockrass asked Gibbs whether Hamlin could win this year's Championship Four race.
The #11 Toyota Camry XSE driver has hogged the 2025 Cup Series season with five wins. He dominated the Martinsville Speedway, Darlington Raceway, Michigan International Speedway, Dover Motor Speedway, and the Gateway. Also, he amassed 15 top-tens, 12 top-fives, and three pole positions in 27 starts this season.
Reflecting on Denny Hamlin's remarkable performance, the Fox Sports journalist asked Gibbs:
"Can this really be Denny Hamlin's year?" [02:30 onwards]
Joe Gibbs was not surprised by the question and told the media:
"Yeah, I think, uh, great question there. Uh, we certainly hope so. That's probably the best guy to ask, but I'll be in the background cheering. But, uh, no, really, Denny, I tell you what's impressive about Denny is his work ethic. Really, he'll be in the sim as long as Chris wants him in there. Uh, really works hard at everything. And, uh, so I would certainly hope he's got a chance for sure."
Joe Gibbs Racing fields four full-time entries in the Cup Series, with Christopher Bell driving the #20 Toyota Camry XSE. He is followed by Denny Hamlin in his iconic #11 Toyota, Chase Briscoe in the Bass Pro Shops #19 Camry XSE, and Ty Gibbs piloting the #54 car.
