Popular NASCAR influencer, Daniel Kriete, recently reacted to Joey Logano's inclusion in the Top 10 die-cast cars list of stock car racing in 2024. Reacting to the list, Kriete was surprised to see Joey Logano down in the tenth place, especially after the magnanimous season the Team Penske driver had in 2024.
Lionel Racing shared the list of this year's Top 10 die-cast cars, and surprisingly, a non-NASCAR vehicle made it to the top. It was Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s 2024 Budweiser Late Model, which was on top, ahead of Chase Elliott's 2024 Hooters Texas Win.
Dale Jr. returned to racing with the iconic Budweiser paint scheme in November this year in the Late Model series, and fans couldn't wait to get their hands on the miniature models. (Notably, die-cast cars are miniature models of big race cars in real life.)
While Dale Jr.'s return to racing grabbed all the attention, Logano's scintillating Cup Series performance did not reflect on fans. Reason? His 2024 Shell-Pennzoil Champion car was down in 10th. Reacting to the list, Kriete said on his official YouTube channel,
"In at Number 10, you had Joey Logano's I believe his championship win for 2024. Overall I think the biggest surprise probably has to be Joey Logano being on there!" ((2:39-2:50)
Logano claimed his second Cup Series championship in two years, driving the same Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustang Dark Horse. Despite that, the Penske driver's car did not reach the top, not even in the top five.
In the third place of the list, there was Kyle Larson's 2024 Hendrickcars.com Throwback, ahead of his teammate, William Byron's 2024 Daytona 500 win. Brad Keselowski's 2024 Castrol Throwback at Darlington was in fifth place, while Corey LaJoie's 2024 Chilli"s "Catch a Rita" was in sixth.
Kyle Larson's 2024 Indianapolis car made it to the list again, this time in seventh place, and so did Chase Elliott's 2024 Hooters, in eighth place. Tyler Reddick's 2024 Jordan Brand White at Talladega appeared in ninth place, and finally, Logano's 2024 Shell-Pennzoil champion was in the last position.
Joey Logano made it to Top 15 in Global racing driver's list
Following his massive Cup Series Championship win, Joey Logano was featured in Autosport's Top 15 driver's list in 2024 (also first in NASCAR). The Team Penske driver had a massive turnaround in performance this year after he went from no race wins in the first 15 races, to winning three races in the 10-race playoffs.

Besides this, he won Team Penske their third owner's title in as many years, thanks to help from teammate Ryan Blaney, who clinched the title in 2022. However, the #22 driver had the worst average finish position (17.1) compared to all NASCAR champions.
The Formula 1 trio of Max Verstappen (Red Bull), Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), and Lando Norris (McLaren) made it to the top three of the list. The notable NASCAR entry in the Top 20 was Kyle Larson of Hendrick Motorsports, who was in 16th place, just behind Logano.
