Danica Patrick considers YouTuber and financial advisor Codie Sanchez her friend. So much so that she is ready to give driving lessons to the former Wall Street investor.
Patrick is one of the most prominent women in American auto racing. Her achievements include a series of firsts in the history of open-wheel racing. Patrick is the first woman to win an IndyCar race in 2008, and the first to bag a pole in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2013.
Furthermore, she is the only woman and one of the only 14 drivers to have led laps in the Indianapolis 500 and the Daytona 500. Patrick also holds the record for the highest finish by a woman in those two races.
Patrick won the Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year and the IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year awards in 2005. She was voted the Most Popular Driver in the IndyCar Series from 2005 to 2010. In 2022, Patrick was named the Most Popular Driver in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.
The 42-year-old recently did an interview with Sanchez on the former's Pretty Intense podcast. Later, she put a picture from the same on her Instagram story and captioned it, saying:
"When I grow up I want to be as smart as @codiesanchez! Not only is she brilliant and beautiful but she's also a really cool girl.. that I call a friend now."
Sanchez mentioned Patrick in her story and said,
"I want to drive as fast in life as @danicapatrick"
"I can definitely help you with that," Danica Patrick replied as she shared Sanchez's story.

Besides being the owner of three businesses, Patrick is a former Formula 1 analyst for Sky Sports. The NASCAR trailblazer has almost a million followers on Instagram alone.
"I just don’t stay in one place enough right now"- Danica Patrick on what stops her from launching a rescue mission
Danica Patrick is a dog lover. She is the proud mother of two furry friends, a 9-year-old Belgian Malinois named Ella and a 10-year-old Husky named Dallas. Patrick's dogs often travel with her to various parts of the country.
Therefore, Patrick's heart reaches out to all the senior dogs out there. She intends to rescue all senior dogs in a shelter and take care of them during their final days. However, the only thing that stands in her way is her busy schedule.
Speaking of which, in a recent tweet, Patrick said:
"Might as well start off with dogs! 😁 I dream about rescuing the oldest dogs at a shelter to give them a happy home during their last years… I just don’t stay in one place enough right now. 🤪 someday….."
Patrick loves her dogs so much that she doesn't think twice before risking her life to save theirs. Back in 2021, one of her dogs got chased by coyotes. In an instant, she jumped to their rescue. Thankfully, her dogs were safe and Patrick was able to walk away with minor bruises all over her face, neck, legs, and arms.
