With Christmas around the corner, everyone is getting into the holiday spirit, and NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his co-hosts are no different. In an episode of his podcast Dale Junior Download, they discuss their favorite Christmas movies, and Earnhardt Jr.'s pick surprised them.
The former NASCAR Cup Series driver's pick for his favorite movie to enjoy the holiday spirit reminded co-host Andrew Dalon how much he liked it too.
"My favorite Christmas movie is probably (National Lampoon's) Christmas Vacation," Dale Earnhardt Jr. said.
Dalon replied:
"Oh, that's a good one. I wasn't even thinking of that one, but that is, yeah, that might be my favorite."
The post was shared by Dirty Mo Media's X account asking fans about their all-time favorite movie for the holiday:
"If you could only watch one Christmas movie for the rest of your life, what would it be? 🎄🎬 (And yes, Die Hard counts.) 💥"
The movie National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation was a comedy movie released on December 1, 1989, and holds a special place in the hearts of the audience. The movie is about a family having a fun-filled, old-fashioned Christmas, taking a hilarious turn for the worse.
“Did y’all just hear that?” Dale Earnhardt Jr. learns about Buffalo Wings' origin from co-host T.J. Majors
In an episode of Dale Junior Download last week, NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. had a hilarious moment when his co-hosts blasted him for not knowing the origin of Buffalo wings. During the discussion, he learned that the iconic appetizer originated from Buffalo, New York.
Earnhardt Jr. interrupted co-host T.J. Majors who told him he had eaten more Buffalo wings than him while in his hometown, where the sauce got its name.
"Well, wait the **** a minute man. Are you insinuating since you're from Buffalo, or anyone from Buffalo, you're an eater of a lot of Buffalo things? You think Buffalo, the flavor Buffalo is a Buffalo the city thing? Is that what I just heard? Did y'all just hear that?" Dale Earnhardt Jr. said
"TJ, so you really think Buffalo came from the ******* city Buffalo?"
Majors cleared the 50-year-old's confusion by showing Earnhardt Jr. after searching on his phone that the appetizer originated in Buffalo in the 1960s.
The retired NASCAR driver hails from Kannapolis, North Carolina, and secured 26 wins in 631 starts, 260 top-10 finishes, and 15 pole positions. He has raced under Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Hendrick Motorsports banners. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is best known for his iconic #8 red Budweiser late-model car.
