After an action-packed Goodyear 400, the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series arrived at North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina for the All-Star exhibition event. Drivers will compete against each other in a 200-lap contest to earn a cash prize of $1 million this Sunday, on May 21, 2023.

The second exhibition race for the season will be contested on a 0.625-mile short oval track. Motorsport journalist Bob Pockrass shared the starting line-up for Sunday’s All-Star Open and All-Star Race on his official Twitter account.

In Saturday’s 60-laps All-Star Heat races, Daniel Suarez and Chris Buescher won their respective heat races that set the starting order for Sunday’s All-Star Race and put them on the front row for the 200-lap event. Suarez will start on the pole and Chris Buescher will share the front row with him. They are followed by Joey Logano, Austin Dillon, and Chase Briscoe completing the top five.

Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suarez started Heat 1 from the pole and took the checkered flag after edging Chase Elliott out in a head-to-head battle. Meanwhile, Chris Buescher started Heat 2 from the pole and won it after leading all 60 laps.

21 out of the 24 drivers are already locked in and three spots remain up for grabs. The top two finishers from the All-Star Open and the fan vote winner will advance to the Sunday night’s main event.
