The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series are scheduled to be on the 2.2-mile-long street course on Saturday, July 6. The action on the season’s 20th weekend continues at the Chicago Street Course.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series teams will participate in a 50-minute practice and qualifying session on Saturday before concluding the day with the 110-mile main event.
The NASCAR Cup Series drivers will also take part in practice and qualifying at 12:30 pm ET and 1:30 pm ET, respectively, before hitting the track for the Grant Park 165 on Sunday, July 7.
Shane van Gisbergen and Cole Custer are the defending winners of the Cup and Xfinity events in Chicago, respectively.
The weather forecast on Saturday in Chicago predicts partly cloudy skies throughout the afternoon with a high temperature of 74 degrees and a four percent chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity race.
