NASCAR Kubota High Limit Racing: Full race results of Friday’s Sage Fruit Skagit Nationals preliminary event at Skagit Speedway

The second night of the 2024 Sage Fruit Skagit Nationals of the NASCAR Kubota High Limit Racing Series got done and dusted on Friday, August 30, at Washington's Skagit Speedway, with 25 entries.

Rico Abreu, driving the #24 entry, secured his eighth victory of the 2024 Kubota High Limit Racing season in the Friday night preliminary feature at Skagit Speedway.

Abreu emerged victorious after grabbing the lead from Tanner Thorson on lap 8 of the 30 and then being held of the late charge by points table leader Brad Sweet to cross the finish line in P1. Abreu crossed the finish line by a close margin ahead of Sweet to take the checkered flag.

Abreu and Sweet joined Thursday night winner Trey Starks and Shane Golobic to win Saturday’s (August 31) Sage Fruit Skagit Nationals and a prize money of $102,626.

Meanwhile, Hendrick Motorsports and Kyle Larson’s brother-in-law Brad Sweet finished runner-up, followed by James McFadden, Corey Day, and Cole Macedo in the top-five. Justin Sanders, Brent Marks, Cory Eliason, Jacob Allen, and Shane Golobic completed the top-10.
