As the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season inches ever closer to crowning the ultimate champion this year, one of the sport's grassroots series is also set to do the same. The Whelen Modified Tour is all set to crown a 2023 champion on Thursday at Martinsville Speedway.

Fans of the sport can expect a whole lot of racing ahead of them at the 0.5-mile track over the course of the week as the Cup, as well as Xfinity Series, run at the track during the weekend.

The Virginia is for Racing Lovers 200 goes live on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. ET, with the live stream for the event available on the popular streaming service FloRacing. The 200-lap-long finale will see two series veterans, Ron Silk and Justin Bonsignore, fight for the ultimate prize as both sit on the driver's standings table, separated by 13 points.

Silk has a lead over Bonsignore heading into the final race due to the latter's poor start at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park last week, relegating him to a P13 finish. NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour car owner Danny Watts Jr. will also be seen retiring from the sport as an owner after several years of success with numerous drivers.

Former Cup Series talents Ryan Newman and Bobby Labonte will also be seen behind the wheel competing for a slice of the pie on Thursday, alongside active Cup Series driver for Stewart-Haas Racing, Ryan Preece.
