Briscoe and his wife, Marissa, welcomed their newborn twins, Cooper Banks and Collins Ivy, this week, soon after the second Round of 12 race at Talladega. The couple lost their first child through a miscarriage in 2020, and a year later, they welcomed their son, Brooks.

Now, three years later, they welcomed their twins on October 8, 2024. As per the latest reports, the twins are doing fine, but their mother, Marissa, reportedly caught a minor infection and is currently undergoing treatment.

While Briscoe is undoubtedly concerned about his newborn babies and wife, he also faces the pressure of the NASCAR playoffs. When questioned by Bob Pockrass about whether the birth of twins could alleviate his potential disappointment of not qualifying for the round of eight, he said,

"You know, I mean I think that your perspective changes, at least it did for me, even with Brooks. Yeah, I mean, what I do in the race car is important, but in the big scheme of things and the big scheme of life, it's not the most important thing where I finish on a Sunday. So yeah, I mean, I think it does add motivation at the same time just knowing that you have two more mouths to feed and you know things like that."

"And you want to provide for your family but it also, you know my worth is not where I finish on Sunday, whether I move on in the playoffs, it's how good of a husband, how good of a father I am, and you know that's kind of what I take pride in," Briscoe added.

Briscoe is currently at risk of elimination as he stands last (12th), with -32 points under the cutline.

"I don’t feel worried at all," Briscoe said about the upcoming Charlotte race. "I honestly feel a lot like I did going into the Darlington week, where I know that we can win here. We’ve done it before at the Xfinity level, but this is a track I feel really good about. Our road course stuff has been really good. If you look at Watkins Glen and things like that. So I’m not really nervous."

As of Lap 37 of 109, Briscoe was running in 24th place, behind Tyler Reddick and ahead of Kyle Busch. He finished Stage 1 in 23rd place.
