Reigning NASCAR Cup Series driver for Team Penske, Ryan Blaney's fiance Gianna Tulio recently shared a heartbreaking development for the #12 Ford Mustang driver, his fiance as well as their close family.

Tulio revealed the demise of her stepfather who had been with Tulio's family for the last fifteen years via a story on Instagram. The story features candid videos of her stepfather enjoying his time with his family, as well as a few still pictures of the Tulio family's memories.

Ryan Blaney's fiance expressed her sorrow and elaborated on her stepfather's demise which took place two weeks prior to her announcing the same to her fans as well as the NASCAR fraternity. She wrote:

"This is hard to post but two weeks ago today, we lost someone special. My step dad of 15 years, rest easy & fly high. I love you so much"

What are Ryan Blaney's odds of winning the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover Motor Speedway?

Defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney might not have had a blazing start to the 2024 season in the highest echelon of stock car racing. However, if his championship-winning season last year is anything to go by, the #12 crew at Team Penske managed to turn on the afterburners at just the right time to make the most of their efforts.

Heading into this Sunday's 2024 Wurth 400 at 'The Monster Mile', Ryan Blaney does not have the best odds of winning the race at 14-1, according to CBS Sports. However, coming off a career-best finish last year at the 1-mile-long venue with a P3 finish, the #12 Ford Mustang Dark Horse driver can start working towards his postseason playoffs challenge at the upcoming event.

Blaney enters the upcoming 400-mile-long event sitting in P7 on the driver's standing table. Despite not being able to capitalize on his last five appearances in the NASCAR Cup Series with one finish inside the top 10, it remains to be seen how the 30-year-old Ohio native turns things up a notch or two.

The Wurth 400 goes live on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 2:00 pm ET.
