The 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Clean Harbors 250 is finally done and dusted. The 16th race of the season started at 7:30 pm ET on Saturday (August 10) and lasted for two hours, 25 minutes, and 18 seconds. It took place at the Richmond Raceway and had 36 entries.
The Clean Harbors 250 saw 12 lead changes among seven drivers and witnessed nine caution flags.
Who won the NASCAR Truck Series race today?
Driving the #98 Ford for ThorSport Racing, Ty Majeski secured back-to-back wins at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park and now at Richmond Raceway to end the 2024 Truck Series regular season on a strong note.
Majeski overcame a penalty that sent him to the rear of the field early in the race due to an uncontrolled tire, but he crossed all the hurdles to come on top in the regular season finale.
Majeski emerged victorious when he grabbed the lead on the restart with eight laps to go and then held off the challenge of Christina Eckes, who had clinched the regular season championship. Majeski
Majeski led 70 of the 250 laps and crossed the finish line by an impressive margin of 0.936 seconds ahead of Eckes to grab the checkered flag at Richmond. The win also marked his fifth career victory in NASCAR’s third-tier series.
Meanwhile, Eckes claimed a P2 finish, followed by Taylor Gray, Grant Enfinger, and Layne Riggs in the top five. Tyler Ankrum, Ben Rhodes, Daniel Dye, Ty Dillon, and Connor Hall completed the top 10.
