Andrea Dossena is an Italian football player who plays for S.S.C. Napoli as a defender. He started his football career as a youth player at Verona and played for senior squad for four seasons. On November 18th, 2001 Dossena made his debut for Serie A against Chievo and signed by Italian club Treviso in a co-ownership deal in 2005. In the following year, he joined with Udinese in a co-ownership with Treviso and was awarded an improved contract which last until June 30th, 2012. Dossena made 63 appearances and scored two league goals in the two seasons with Udinese and signed by club Liverpool on a four-year contract on July 4th, 2008. After that he signed for S.S.C Napoli in a four-year contract with the fee quoted was €4.25 million in 2010 and he played at international level, for the Italy U-20 team from 2000 to 2001 with four caps although won second international cap when Italy's draw with Austria in 2008.
