Kanye West's recent show of support for Donald Trump comes after former White House director of strategic communications Alyssa Farah Griffin made an apperance on Watch What Happs Live with Andy Cohen in July.

"One day he wanted to have Kanye West come and do a church service on the White House lawn to unify the country. And I can think of few things less unifying than that. But we were like, 'Not the time or the place, sir."
Kanye has been vocal about supporting the former U.S president. In November 2016, during his concert California, Kanye addressed the crowd and revealed who he would have voted for in the 58th U.S presidential elections,
“I told y’all I didn’t vote, right? But if I would’ve voted, I would’ve voted for Trump.”

"Yeah, of course, it's Trump all day."
