On October 5, billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk arrived at Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania to show his support for the former US president in the upcoming presidential election. During the event, he got up to the stage to applaud, raised his arms above his head, and jumped twice.
Following this, the jump went viral on X. It was compared with a scene from the satirical animated show, The Simpsons, whose creators are known for allegedly predicting the future and its significant events.
Once the comparison became popular on the platform, netizens expressed their opinions about the situation and commented under @JeremyMonjo's X post. Some users said that the show "did it again."
“The #Simpsons have done it again!!!!!! #MAGA24 @elonmusk”, commented one user.
Others asked how the show's creators always knew about significant future events. Some even said that the show "predicted the future again."
“How do the Simpsons always know? Excellent work, friend”, commented one X user.
“The Simpsons predicting the future again!” said one another user.
“Just watched this earlier today and I'm worried that I summoned it”, one user said.
Others also expressed similar sentiments, with some comparing Musk's jump with that of the Orca from the movie Free Willy.
“This is seriously the first thing that popped into my head! Glad to see I'm not the only crazy one!” wrote another X user.
“Free Willy’, hilariously wrote another one.
“Could not stop laughing”, wrote one user.
Elon Musk recently showed his support for Donald Trump
At a recent rally in Pennsylvania, Elon Musk, the owner of X, showed his support for Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump. On Saturday, October 5, Musk went to the rally, which was organized at the same place where the former president escaped an assassination attempt in July.
He even described the Republican front-runner as the only one "to preserve democracy in America." Musk further declared that if Trump loses,
"This will be the last election."
He also said he was "not just MAGA, I'm dark MAGA" as he ascended the stage to applause.
Musk wore a "Make America Great Again" or MAGA cap as he leaped and crossed the stage to support Trump. Elon Musk then continued,
"President Trump must win to preserve the Constitution. He must win to preserve democracy in America. You know, the true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire. And we had one president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs and another who was fist pumping after getting shot."
It was Musk's first time attending a Trump rally. To promote the Republican nominee, Musk established a super political action committee, which has been extensively funding voter turnout campaigns. Elon Musk further claimed that Democrats sought to,
"Take away your freedom of speech, they want to take away your right to bear arms, they want to take away your right to vote, effectively."
Musk then continued by criticizing an attempt to outlaw voter ID requirements in California. During the same, he urged viewers to make sure they were registered to vote and advised them to "be a pest" when it comes to encouraging others to cast their ballots.
Additionally, following this, in a recently uploaded display photo on X, Musk was seen wearing the same "Make America Great Again" cap with the American flag in the background.
Following the event, neither Trump nor Elon Musk said anything about the upcoming Presidential run.
