Hip-hop podcaster DJ Akademiks recently tweeted that he took "bread" from Kamala Harris' team but voted against the Vice President. His comments came after Donald Trump led Harris by a decent margin in the 2024 election polls.

Taking to X on November 6, DJ Akademiks claimed that Kamala Harris' team sent him some "bread, " but he still hoped she lost the elections. He was presumably alleging monetary awards.

Akademiks also commented on CNN's reporting of the elections, writing:

"CNN sounding like a funeral … s**t crazy."

CNN reports that Donald Trump is leading Kamala Harris with 266 electoral college votes. Meanwhile, Harris stands at 195 electoral college votes. Either candidate will have to cross the figure of 270 to claim the White House.

Given Trump's lead, it is widely predicted that he will become the 47th President of the United States. However, an official announcement is pending until the count is over.

In a series of tweets on November 6, DJ Akademiks commented on the ongoing results of the 2024 US presidential elections. The podcaster alleged that Harris' team paid celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Oprah Winfrey to endorse her but still did not win.

"Half these celeb ni**as who was Jacking Kamala not even MAD.. they were getting paid millions to brainwash u dumb a*s ni**as . Shordy had Taylor Swift, Beyoncé Oprah n like everyone else … cmon bruh… yall secured the check but not the White House. SAD!," he tweeted.

DJ Akademiks was referring to multiple celebrities endorsing Kamala Harris, including big names like Taylor Swift, Charli XCX, and Oprah Winfrey. In a September 11 post on Instagram, Swift had said:

"I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.
"I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades."

Meanwhile, Charli XCX allegedly endorsed Kamala Harris as she referred to the Vice President as a "brat" in one of her tweets, referring to her 2024 hit summer album. Oprah Winfrey has hosted events and rallies with Harris and spoke in her favor in these events.

In another tweet, DJ Akademiks wrote about Tesla CEO Elon Musk's role in Trump leading the elections.

"Word to everything I think Elon Musk bought twitter to make sure social media platforms had to stop repressing one side of the election… lost bread on it too. He the goat. META and GOOGLE were pawns for Biden/democrats."

In his last tweet, DJ Akademiks appeared to endorse Trump's supposed victory in the elections.

"Trump back President. Bitcoin $75k. Young Thug free. Streets is back."

Donald Trump is yet to be officially declared the next President of the United States. However, multiple polls have predicted his eventual win after he led Kamala Harris by almost 71 electoral college votes.

According to CNN, Donald Trump is set to win the key battleground states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, and North Carolina, decreasing the chance of a possible Democratic victory.

In a speech to supporters before his official victory, Trump said he will bring in the "golden age of America," reported CNN. The outlet is yet to project an official winner as counting continues in key states such as Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona.
