Notably, the AI-generated video, which stunned the internet, recreated the iconic scene from the Iron Man movie. However, the clip remastered by Grok Imagine 0.9 featured an Elon Musk lookalike impersonating Tony Stark in the weapon demonstration scene from the 2008 movie.

Sharing the video, the X-user @Prashant_1722 noted:

“Grok Imagine 0.9 makes movie making a breeze. Reimagined this iconic Iron Man scene. YOU CAN'T WATCH JUST ONCE. I am blown away by the visual quality, motion and audio generation capabilities of the latest model by xAI. It is an incredible model.”

Meanwhile, in the video, the Musk-like character is seen standing in a desert location and delivering a speech. The video features missiles marked “Grok” targeting its rivals, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DALL-E, Sora, and Midjourney.

Mirroring Robert Downey Jr’s line, the AI-generated character delivers:

“Is it better to be feared or respected? And I say, is it too much to ask for both? They say the best AI model is one that gets it right eventually. I say the best model is one that nails it on the first prompt. And with that, I humbly present to you our latest update in AI… For your consideration, Grok Imagine 0.9.”

Grok Imagine reportedly lets users create AI-generated images and video clips using either a text prompt or an uploaded image. After downloading the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, Grok allows users to instantly generate images or videos based on their description.

Notably, Grok reportedly offers various video styles, including Normal, Fun, Custom, and Spicy mode. Users reportedly can generate videos with sound. Meanwhile, the official Grok Imagine website reportedly states that its service uses the powerful Aurora engine to produce the lifelike results.

According to International Business Times, the service reportedly generates videos the quickest with the new model. It completes a standard video in just five seconds. While free users are given 10 daily credits, users who purchase can unlock advanced functions.

For the unversed, the version update of Grok Imagine closely follows OpenAI’s Sora 2 launch. Launched on September 30, Sora 2 reportedly intensify the competition in the AI video creation space.
