Polly Pocket's AirBnB: How to book, location, price, features and all you need to know about the life-sized marvel

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of Mattel's Polly Pocket doll, Airbnb is offering guests the chance to stay in a 42-foot-tall, life-sized version of the doll's Slumber Party Fun compact home. The two-story home is located in Littleton, Massachusetts, and houses five beds and a private half-bath.

The house contains a plethora of nostalgic Polly Pocket accessories, including a retro fridge, hair and nail accessories of various colors, and a life-sized version of the doll's iconic closet. The house will be available for booking on Airbnb from August 21 through August 28, with a rate of $89 per person. The booking period will close on August 28.

Polly Pocket's Slumber Party Fun compact offers guests the chance to relive their 90's childhood memories

Polly Pocket, the iconic doll of the '90s, is offering fans a chance to have a sleepover in a life-sized version of her iconic Slumber Party Fun compact home. The opportunity is provided by Airbnb and is part of the doll's 35th anniversary celebrations. The Airbnb page for the compact even lists Polly Pocket as the host.

According to the website, fans can stay at her Littleton, Westford, Massachusetts home while Polly is off on an "epic adventure." Airbnb describes the compact home as a place where a "pocket full of nostalgia awaits."

The house, which accommodates four guests, features a picnic table stockpiled with colorful threads, charms, and a variety of beads for making homemade jewelry. Additionally, it includes a life-sized version of Polly's iconic closet, allowing guests to try on her iconic throwback looks, which can be worn right over guests' clothes.

Colorful nostalgic hair and nail accessories like press-on nails and butterfly hair clips will also be present at the house for guests to give themselves Polly Pocket-themed makeovers. Guests can snuggle up on the pull-out couch and watch movies and shows like the 90s with "literal video cassettes."

For refreshments, Polly Pocket's life-sized retro fridge will be stocked with snacks desired by every '90s kid, including Ring Pops, Push Pops, and Baby Bottle Pops. At night, guests can sleep in Polly's Action Park Tent, which resides just 10 feet away from the compact and contains four sleeping bags. The house also contains a private toilet and sink.

Apart from all the aforementioned guaranteed accessories, Airbnb and Poly Pocket revealed that every nook and cranny of the iconic compact can be explored, and the house also came with a few hidden surprises. Polly Pocket herself wrote on the Airbnb listing for her home:

"'90s kids rule at sleepovers. But you already knew that. So I wanted this sleepover to feel like you’re still actually in the ’90s! Just picture it – crafts, throwback snacks, Polaroid cameras … it’s going to be AMAZING."

The doll added:

"Basically, I turned my Slumber Party Fun compact into a time machine where your imagination can run wild. Because there’s no greater adventure than the one you create for yourself."

According to Airbnb, those eager to experience the Polly Pocket lifestyle can request to book a one-night stay starting August 21 at 6:00 am PT on the official Airbnb website. The booking period will close on August 28 at 11:59 pm PT. Travel accommodations won't be provided to guests. The home is available for $89 per person inspired by the doll's 1989 debut.

Pets are not allowed in the compact, along with any parties or other similar events. A maximum of four guests are allowed to stay in the compact with a check-in after 4 pm and a check-out before 10 am. Smoking is not allowed on the premises.

However, in case guests are not able to book the home for the aforementioned dates, the compact will once again be open for a daytime adventure with 21 experiences for up to 12 guests each from September 16 to October 6. The request periods for these also start on August 21 at 6:00 am PT and end on August 28 at 11:59 pm PT.
