The Clearing cast list: Who stars in Hulu's thriller series

Hulu's new thriller series, titled The Clearing, is all set to hit the streaming platform on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. The show tells the story of a woman who's forced to deal with the demons from her past in order to preven kids from being kidnapped by a dangerous cult group.

Here's the show's official synopsis, as per Hulu:

''When a local girl goes missing, it triggers a woman's memories from her childhood as a member of The Kindred - one of the few female-led cults in history. Based on the crime thriller by J.P. Pomare, this exclusive original series follows the nightmares of a cult survivor who's forced to face the demons from her past in order to stop the kidnapping and coercion of innocent children in the future.''

The synopsis further states,

''The Clearing'' is an emotional and psychological thriller that burrows under the skin and inside the mind, blurring the lines between past and present, reality and nightmare.''

The show explores several themes like redemption, mysterious cults, and guilt. It stars Teresa Palmer in the lead role, with several others essaying crucial supporting characters. The show is created by Elise McCredie and Matt Cameron.

1) Teresa Palmer as Freya

Teresa Palmer stars in the lead role as Frey in Hulu's The Clearing.
