Sansa Stark is a fictional character introduced in Game of Thrones. The character was introduced to the audience in the very first episode of the series as the daughter of Lord Eddard Stark and his wife Lady Catelyn Stark. Born as the second child and the eldest of Eddard’s two daughters, the character was born and brought up in Winterfell. As per the story, Sansa has an older brother Robb, a younger sister Arya, two younger brothers Bran and Rickon, and an older brother Jon Snow.

Throughout her journey, Sansa is shown to be married two times. The first was when she got married to Crown Prince Joffrey Baratheon, and later by the end of the series, she was married to Tyrion Lannister. At the beginning of the series, Sansa is seen as a naive selfish girl who chooses the treacherous Queen Cersei over her father, but as the story progresses, Sansa turns out to be a mature, strategic player in the political game running through the 9 kingdoms.

Born on the 21st of February 1996, Sophie was one of the few actors in the cast who made their debut in the film industry starring in the Game of Thrones series. For her role as Sansa Stark, the actress went on to earn the honor of an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

Sophie Turner made her feature film debut in the psychological thriller Another Me, which was released back in 27 June 2014 and was directed by Isabel Coixet. The actress was seen playing the role of young Jean Grey or Phoenix in the X-Men film series from 20016 to 20019. Apart from Game of Thrones, the actress has also worked in shows like Survive, Home Movie: The Princess Bride, The Prince, and Young Adeline March among others.
