Unfortunately, the sitcom, The Big Bang Theory, will not return. The 12th season is the last season of the series. But there is a movie based on the show.

The Big Bang Theory was created by Chuck Lorre Productions and Warner Bros. Television and was live-streamed in front of viewers. The series received a total of seven Emmy Awards and 46 nominations. It got Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series from 2011 to 2014.

There won't be a season thirteen because CBS ultimately confirmed Season 12 would be the final one. Like a two-part conclusion episode to reveal what occurs to all the actors, Season 13 was purportedly confirmed by an unnamed CBS staffer on May 14, 2020, but it was only a rumor.

However, there is a movie based on the television show, The Big Bang Theory. The movie is of the same name as the sitcom. Chuck Lorre, Bill Brady, and Jonathan Levine all contributed to the direction of the movie. On June 30th, 2022, the film was released.
