#2. Caleb Plant has a longer reach
As well as being five inches taller than Canelo Alvarez, Caleb Plant also has a significant reach advantage. The Mexican has a reach of 70.5 inches, whereas Plant has a reach of 74 inches.
That advantage could play a massive role, with Plant potentially establishing control with his jab. If the IBF champion is able to do so, he can achieve success in the early rounds and have an upper hand heading into the latter stages of the contest.
It is worth noting that Caleb Plant is also faster than Canelo in many aspects. While the height and reach advantage is there to help Caleb Plant, the speed could end up being the icing on the cake.
Plant has always been pretty slick with his movement and that could very well trouble Canelo.
