Post-match footage from Conor McGregor's locker room has emerged after his famed fight against Floyd Mayweather last month. The Irishman lasted 10 rounds against his illustrious opponent, giving a good account of himself before losing out via technical knockout as the referee intervened following a flurry of punches from Mayweather.

The video shows an emotional McGregor after the bout as he apologizes to UFC boss Dana White for being unable to defeat the American and deliver the result he had promised to.

However, White immediately dismissed his apology and stated that there was nothing for him to apologize about and that he had done excellently during the fight. "Sorry?! Dude, I'm ecstatic," he told McGregor, before adding, "I'm telling you, you're unbelievable." He even went on to kiss the Irishman on his forehead.

The Notorious, soon enough, returns to his normal spirits and is then seen in the video raising a toast with his team and support staff.

The bout was billed as the 'Money Fight', given the incredible amounts at stake. It is said to have broken the all-time PPV sales record and McGregor is expected to take home atleast $100 million, despite the loss. The fight will also see him move ahead of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi on the Forbes rich lists.

It may have been a loss on his debut but in no way did McGregor embarrass himself against one of the greatest boxers ever to have stepped into the ring. Speculation is rife about what his next step will be, with rumours doing the circles that he might even return to the boxing ring again!
