An expert in business strategy, sports marketing, and new media, Arup has served as a Sports Business Consultant to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and All India Football Federation (AIFF).

He was the Head of Marketing of the Local Organising Committee of the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 which was the highest ever attended FIFA youth competition.

In a career spanning more than fifteen years, Arup has held posts at New York based Major League Soccer and Perform Sports Media and is currently CEO at KiteTalks and Board Member at SportiFan.

He is also the first Indian to hold a master's degree in sports business from New York University.
