Bio

My passion for cricket was forged in the fires that raged at Eden Gardens during the 1996 World Cup Semi-final between India and Sri Lanka. While it remains a shameful chapter in cricket history, it ignited something in my 10 year old self who was overwhelmed by Tendulkar's lone battle and Kambli's tears.

I remember sobbing in my dad's car, hours after the match was forfeited in favor of Sri Lanka, not understanding why a game I barely understood elicited such strong emotions. That day kick-started my journey in cricket fandom and I've been in love with the game since.

Today, I live in the United States, working in the field of healthcare, and faithfully support the Indian team wherever they play.
