Srinjoy is an ardent fan of cricket, especially leg-spin bowling. He first went to Eden Gardens on March 16, 2005 to watch India play Pakistan in a Test match, and has not stopped going since. He has been witness to many a memorable moment - Virat Kohli's first ever international hundred, Sourav Ganguly's only international century on home soil and Rohit Sharma's epic 264 not out being some.

Srinjoy completed his graduation in Electronics and Communication Engineering before going on to pursue a career in media from the Asian College of Journalism.

Srinjoy also follows football, tennis, Formula 1, track and field, badminton (in that order), among others.
