5 Cricketers whose autobiographies we would love to read

#2 Rahul Dravid

India’s “Wall” Rahul Dravid, lovingly called Jammy by his teammates, is humility personified. A humble and down-to-earth person, he always put his team’s needs ahead of his and contributed to his team in a variety of ways. Despite mostly being overshadowed by performances of other players in the team, Dravid silently accomplished what was expected of him without yearning for name or fame. Surely, he is one of the very few cricketers who commands respect from every fan all over the world because of his nature of play.

He was the pillar of the Indian side, and also took to donning the gloves when the team needed an extra batsman. Never an attention-seeker, Dravid was the epitome of modesty and also announced his retirement in a low-key fashion, not having the slightest interest in a farewell match.

All true lovers of cricket would love to take a leaf out of his book to make their lives easier. Such is the aura of Dravid, that people are eager to know what goes through the mind of such a serene cricketer during tough as well as jubilant times.
