The New Zealand cricket team is scheduled to tour United Arab Emirates (UAE) and play against Pakistan in all formats of the game beginning from 31st October 2018. The entire tour comprises three T20Is and the same number of ODIs and Test matches.
The tour will start off with the T20I series as the sides will face each at Sheik Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi on 31st October 2018. After Abu Dhabi, the sides will face each other at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 2nd November 2018. The third and final T20I will also be played at the same stadium on 4th November 2018.
The sides will then travel to Abu Dhabi to play the first match of the ODI series on 7th November 2018. The second ODI will be played at the same stadium on 9th November 2018. The final ODI of the series will be played on 11th November 2018 in Dubai.
Both T20 and ODI series will be played as day/night matches.
The Test series will begin in Abu Dhabi with the first match being played from 16th to 20th November. The teams will then return to Dubai International Cricket Stadium to play the second test match from 24th to 28th November. Sheik Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi will host the final test match of the series from 3rd to 7th December.
The Kiwi players will be on their way to the UAE after winning the test series against England and also the five-match ODI series against Pakistan which they played in January this year. It was an impressive outing for them, having whitewashed the 5 match series.
Pakistan, on the other hand, will be coming into this series after winning the tri-series where they defeated Australia in the final. They also have to play in Asia Cup and a T20 and test series against Australia before facing the Black Caps.
