Michael Bracewell (captain, New Zealand): Very happy with the performance, bouncing back a day after the Eden Park performance was good. It shows the benefit of the guys at the top, they got us a good start and we had a little whoopsie in the middle but Daryl and myself did the job in the middle. We were able to get the ball to shape both ways, wonder what would have happened if it was hit. All the seamers bowled really well, there wasn't spin but always great to see Ish ripping the ball and get the last wicket

Finn Allen is the Player of the Match, here is what he had to say: Yeah pretty happy. Few other guys might have deserved it more than me but I will take it. Yeah it's a pretty frickle game. The game gets you sometimes. It's about starting fresh every game. Yeah I think there seamers bowled into the wicket in the middle overs. We wanted to cash in on the spinners a bit more. Seifert makes it a bit difficult for me to get my rhythm but its great to see him belting the ball out of the park.

Agha Salman (captain, Pakistan): They bowled really well and outplayed us. It was swinging and turned as well, it did a lot in the second innings but that is no excuse for us. The total was a bit too much with the ball swinging around. We have our last game and we will have to regroup and see what we have to do to come good in the next game

An absolute demolition job with the ball in hand. New Zealand has dominated and how. They won the game by 115 runs and have also won the series with a match to spare. A lot of work for Pakistan to do, who looked as if they were going to be knocked over for under 50. They will want their batting line up to stand up in such conditions and not wither away.

Will O'Rourke started things off in an aggressive fashion, managing Haris to nick one onto his stumps. That was the catalyst for an explosive reaction to propel things ahead as a procession followed, which had Pakistan 43/7 at one point in time. Irfan Khan and Abdul Samad were the only two batters to put on a fight as Pakistan were skittled and submitted to defeat.

The Kiwi pacers were on fire and did a fine job. Jacob Duffy picked up four wickets, Zakary Foulkes added three to his kitty while Will O'Rourke, Ish Sodhi, and Jimmy Neesham picked up a wicket each. A complete and comprehensive performance from everyone in the bowling attack and they will want to carry the same momentum with the ball in hand into the next contest in Wellington as well.

16.2 Ish Sodhi to Abdul Samad, WICKET! The keeper things he is certainly up to something here. The back foot could be on the line here. Flighted leg break pitching on a fuller-length around off and turns away sharply to beat the outside edge of Samad on the attempted defence, there is clearly nothing behind the popping crease as confirmed by the TV umpire and that brings us to the end of the game. New Zealand wins by 115 runs. Fantastic work by Mitchell Hay and he knew straightaway that Samad hadn't made his crease.

16.1 Ish Sodhi to Abdul Samad, flighted on a fuller-length a shade outside off, Samad tries to launch it down the ground and gets beaten.

An expensive last over for Foulkes, but he did the job with the ball in hand. He will be delighted with his first spell, where he was given three overs and he struck at regular intervals
