Ireland had set up a target of 190, which Netherlands needed to chase in less than 14.2 overs to qualify for the World Twenty20 Super 10 stage. Not only did the Dutch qualify but they did it in style by scoring 193 in 13.5 overs to etch their name in the history books.

With a fifty off 17 balls against Afghanistan in 2012, Paul Sterling of Ireland is the other joint-second fastest fifty scorer in Twenty20 internationals.
