The 2022-23 NBA season continues on Tuesday (December 20), with ten teams set to play.

Take a look at three strong player props for tonight's action, featuring DeMar DeRozan, Jordan Poole, and Lauri Markkanen.

NBA Player Prop #1: DeMar DeRozan Over 24.5 Points (-113)

Despite the struggles of the 11-18 Chicago Bulls, DeMar DeRozan has had a great season. The five-time All-Star is averaging 25.9 points per game while shooting 50.4% from the field and 89.1% from the free-throw line.

While DeRozan will be facing a tough Miami Heat defense, in his only meeting with the Heat this season, he finished with 37 points while shooting 14-22 from the field, 2-3 from the 3-point range and 7-11 from the free-throw line. DeRozan has scored at least 25 points in 18 of his 29 games this season, including 12 of his last 15.

Look for the Bulls star to score at least 25 points for the 15th time this season.

NBA Player Prop #2: Jordan Poole Over 26.5 Points (-118)

Jordan Poole has played great in the two games since Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry was sidelined with a shoulder injury. Poole has averaged 36.0 points per game while shooting 55.8% from the field, 45.0% from the 3-point range and 88.2% from the free-throw line.

With Curry out of the lineup, Poole has averaged 7.5 more field goal attempts 2.5 more 3-point attempts and 4.5 more free-throw attempts per game. Look for the fourth-year player to continue to take advantage of the extra opportunities by finishing with at least 27 points.

NBA Player Prop #3: Lauri Markkanen Over 20.5 Points (-122)

Lauri Markkanen has had a breakout year in his sixth NBA season. The Utah Jazz forward is averaging 22.3 points per game while shooting 52.9% from the field, 42.1% from the 3-point range and 83.2% from the free-throw line. Markkanen has scored at least 21 points in 18 of his 30 games this season, including six of his last eight.

Look for Markkanen to have a big night against a Detroit Pistons defense that ranks 29th in both opponents points per game and defensive rating. Expect him to finish with at least 21 points.
