San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks Match Details

Fixture: San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks

Date & Time: Thursday, December 15, 8:15 p.m. EDT

Venue: Lumen Field, Seattle, Washington

NFL Player Prop #1: Geno Smith Over 21.5 Passing Completions (-135)

Geno Smith has been very solid for the Seahawks this year, and tonight he'll take on arguably the best defense in the NFL in the 49ers. As solid as San Francisco is on defense, they will allow completions, and looking at their past four, they've allowed an average of 25 passing completions. Smith has averaged 23.5 completions per game this year, and he's surpassed 22 or more in five of his past six games. Last week he fell just short, finishing with 21, but tonight expect him o attempt and complete a lot of passes at home.

NFL Player Prop #2: Brock Purdy Under 216.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Brock Purdy has taken over as San Francisco's QB, with QBs Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo likely out for the year. Purdy has played about two full games and has accumulated 395 passing yards in these contests. While he's been effective at getting the ball into the end zone, his overall volume isn't very high. Seattle has a pretty mediocre defense, but given the fact that Purdy has been dealing with a rib injury, he might not be at 100%. Expect the Niners to run the ball a lot, and when Purdy does throw, a lot of these passes might go for shorter gains. As a result, take the under for his passing yards prop.

NFL Player Prop #3: Brandon Aiyuk Over 51.5 Receiving Yards (-118)

Brandon Aiyuk has been extremely consistent this year, and tonight he should see more targets with fellow receiver Deebo Samuel out of the lineup. Since 2020 in games without Samuel, Aiyuk averages 60.1 receiving yards on 7.8 targets and 5.1 receptions. In the lone game where Samuel has sat this year, Aiyuk finished with 81 yards on six catches, and he could be in line for a similar performance tonight. Even with third-string QB Brock Purdy under center, expect Aiyuk to be the featured receiver tonight.
