Best Parlay (+453) for Detriot Lions vs Dallas Cowboys - Week 7 - October 23 | 2022 NFL Football Season

Seattle Seahawks v Detroit Lions
Detroit Lions RB Jamaal Williams celebrates a touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Detroit Lions will head to Jerry's World to take on the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL on Sunday (October 23).

The Lions had a bye after getting shut out on the road against the New England Patriots, 29-0. Detroit's offense was dominating, entering the game with the NFL's top-ranked offense (35 points a game) before crashing down to earth against the Bill Bellichick-led defense.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys saw their four-game winning streak get snapped on Sunday night against the Eagles. Quarterback Cooper Rush, unbeaten as a starter in the NFL, threw two interceptions in the first half in what is most likely his final start, with starter Dak Prescott's return on the horizon.

Below, we'll go through the best parlay to make for Sunday's contest.

NFL Parlay Leg #1: Amon-Ra St. Brown 60+ Receiving Yards (-198)

Detroit WR Amon-Ra St. Brown has been one of the most consistent football players since the halfway mark last season.

The USC product has recorded an astonishing 10-plus targets in eight of his nine previous games, with the outliers being a six receptions, 73-yard receiving game and a six-target game while still recovering from an ankle injury.

St. Brown seems to have put his ankle injury behind him, practicing in full all week in preparation for a matchup against a Dallas secondary that just allowed Eagles star WR A.J. Brown go for 67 yards on five receptions.

NFL Parlay Leg #2: Over 20.5 Lions Points (-114)

The Detroit offense is one of the best in the business. Ben Johnson, last season's tight ends coach with Detriot, seems to be the answer to last season's questions revolving around the success of QB Jared Goff.

Despite being shut out in Week 5 against the Patriots, the Lions still rank in the top ten in the NFL in passing yards per game, passing touchdowns, rushing touchdowns, and rushing yards per game.

The Dallas defense is sturdy, but the Lions have proved that they can be matchup-proof, dropping 35 points against the top-ranked Philadelphia Eagles' defense in Week 1.

NFL Parlay Leg #3: Detroit Lions (+14.5) (-320)

The Lions have become accustomed to hanging around late in games, with three of their four losses coming by four or fewer points.

They also tend to play best indoors, where their offense can thrive in a controlled environment. When playing inside a doom, as they will on Sunday, the Lions are -1 in points differential against their four previous opponents.

NFL Parlay Leg #4: Over 48.5 Total Points (-114)

Detroit's offensive success has been well documented, but the Cowboys are still ironing out the kinks.

Many issues have arisen since the injury of star QB Dak Prescott. The backup, Cooper Rush, has played valiantly, winning four of his five starts, but the offense has notably been less explosive with him under center.

Prescott will return on Sunday against the Lions, which will be a significant upgrade for the Cowboys. Last season was a career year for Prescott, tossing 37 touchdowns in the league's highest-scoring offense.

NFL Parlay Leg #5: Jamaal Williams Anytime TD (+110)

With Detroit RB D'Andre Swift set to miss another week with a shoulder injury, Detroit will turn to backup Jamaal Williams to lead a backfield that ranks second in the league in rushing yards per attempt.

Williams is one of the best backup tailbacks in the league, already finding paydirt six times despite only 77 carries. So expect Williams to have high usage when the Lions approach the endzone.
